Back to back installs

The simplest, tidiest layout.

A back to back install puts the indoor and outdoor units on opposite sides of the same wall. The pipes run straight through, so there is less to hide and less to go wrong.

Not every room suits it. We look at the wall, the outside space and the power supply on the free onsite quote and tell you what works.

What sets the size

  1. Room size

    A bedroom and an open plan living area need very different capacity.

  2. Sun and insulation

    A west facing room under a hot roof works the unit much harder.

  3. Where it goes

    Where the indoor and outdoor units sit changes the cost and the result.
